DisneyWorld in December

Last month I was able to cross something off of my life's "to-do list" and see Disney in December. It was so amazing with all of the lights and decorations! Being a teacher, you never get to travel during the school year (unless you're being dishonest and not really home with the flu...you know I'm not a rule-breaker!) So, in the past, we have only seen it during the overcrowded Spring Break times! It was spectacular! We were able to ride some rides over and over again...yahoo!

We stayed at the beautiful Animal Kingdom Resort and when we arrived we were informed of our "upgrade"...I love my life! We had a sunset savannah view and giraffes and zebras roamed about, right outside of our room...too cool! The girls were thrilled with bunk beds, now they didn't have to share a bed. (No kicking each other during the night...it's the little things that make us happy!)

Disney at any time is fun, but we had a great time viewing the lights at Hollywood Studios and at Mickey's Christmas Party at the Magic Kingdom. Christmas lights, decorations and they even made it snow...it is the "happiest place on Earth!"

Before we left, we took pictures by the Christmas tree at the resort. It was so beautifully decorated. And yes, Mackenna is now taller than me! (sigh)

We used this photo for our Christmas card this year, too!
